School's Not Out - Apprenticed to Jesus!

To be a disciple means you are a student! A disciple of Jesus Christ is a person who is continually living life as an apprentice to Jesus. "Follow Me" were words that enlisted the first disciples and they knew it meant more than, "walk with me to Jersualem!" It was an invitation to a life that is in a constant growth mode.
So, although University and College students are celebrating, and all the other students will be celebrating with a cap and gown or just more free time, School is not out for those who claim to be Christians.
Our focus at McDermot for June and July will be on Discipleship - re-establishing habits and patters of discipline that keep us growing and walking with God. Each week will be intentionally designed to bring Life Change to everyone who is willing to submit themselves to the teachings of Jesus.
I'm looking forward to the School of Life.
