That was a fellow pastor's blog title that caught my attention. It's all about being those few who move from desire to action. Like the 12 spies who scouted out the Promised Land. Ten of the twelve said that it was too difficult to take the land, two said they could possess the land if they went in obedience to God. They were they few...the ones who go and do instead of just dream and desire something.
This year, my desire is to be one of the few who do. Who take action on good intentions! Who follow through on plans and dreams. Who does not allow anything to stand in the way of God's will and plan for my life.
I choose to be one of the few who do.
This year...that means that I will lead the charge of reading through the Bible in 2008. That means that I will intentionally life my life in submission to God's will, the direction of His Spirit, and with an enthusiasm that is contagious.
