Practical Purity!


Information is great because it provides us the necessary truth to make changes....but information might not be enough when it comes to purity! Let me explain......If there are areas of your life that are less than pure....thought life...attitudes....imagination...even actions.....when a call is given to change your life and let Christ provide you with the power to be pure and stay pure.....there is a place for people in this process.
When there are addictions in a persons life, especially when it comes to things that are impure, it is very difficult to break free from them without someone close by to walk forward to wholeness. After last Sunday's message, I was reminded that one thing I forgot to communicate was the importance of a friend to listen to you and keep you accountable as you move toward purity.At our church, we want to be part of the solution for those who are caught in activities or addictions that are very destructive to practical purity. We are here to listen without judgement on a person. We know how hard it is to break free and yet we are committed to loving a person where they are and trusting Jesus to provide a person with the power to live differently.
Practical purity comes from a community of friends committed to purity assisting though listening, encouraging, accountability and tons of acceptance, everyone who desires to experienced the happiness of being pure.May this week be one where your mind is filled with "Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things." Philippians 4:8(New International Version © 2010)
