Fall Kick Off 2006

We had a great time on Sunday morning as many came together to reconnect with our church community and God. It was easy to see that as a Church, we do have a Heart for God and a Heart for People, you might even add, in the Heart of the City, if you were trying to make it three point message. We were once again challenged with the reality of Jesus and His Greatness and the question of, "just exactly what we are packing into our lives as we journey through Life?" It's is always nice to have the "Newest and Most Improved" items in our backpack, but without Jesus, it's just a lot of stuff to carry on our backs. Jesus brings us life and strength and purpose that changes where we will end up. Of all the necessary components in our backpacks of life, Jesus is the one that that will make the journey you take, farther and greater.
Connecting with Jesus and with our Church Community is a great way to Kick-Off that September to December part of 2006. Like they say about a certain credit card, you won't want to leave home without Jesus and a Loving Church Community in your life. We look forward to all that God is going to do this year in developing a Heart for Him and Others, in the Heart of our City.
