Sit Down! Be Quiet! And Hold On!

Doesn’t that sound like what happened this past week in your life? School started! Try-outs started! Everyone’s Back from holidays! It seemed like life merged from a slow lane onto some supercharged highway where there were lots of people and things moving very quickly.
Here at McDermot we understand. We’re here to provide a great escape from the speed and confusion of the fast lane, and bring meaning and purpose into every aspect of life.
This Sunday, September 17th we Launch into our Ministry Year with so many electives for every aspect of your family. There are classes for young children geared toward discovering God and all that He has created. The Kids experience church in a different way so the learning format is designed with them in mind. Kidz Church is exactly that. Church for kids. Singing, teaching, small group interaction time….all form a great adventure in God’s Word.
Youth on Sunday Mornings start an adventure of their own as the study the Life of Ab. A journey with Abraham discovering the character of God and his dealings in everyday life.
Several Adult Electives can be entertained under the LABS section of our Sunday Mornings. LABS are Life Application Bible Studies that are designed to focus on the Word of God and transform the way we think, live and believe. You’ll be sure to find something that is of interest and beneficial. Come this Sunday and check out the Display (pictured) as soon as you enter for all the locations and selections that are available.
If your life this week resembled something called the “Wild Thing”…you just might be looking for a little time to have a cup of coffee, talk with some friends and learn from God’s Word. Come on in…sit down…and hold on as you discover with others…the Great Life of a Follower of Jesus.
