Thanksgiving!

Images of carved turkey with all the trimmings come to mind. Family, friends and the scenes of falling leaves and a light frost on the early morning grass. All that…..and a deep gratitude for all the God has provided.
This Sunday as we join together for corporate worship we will focus on giving thanks. In preparation for Sunday worship consider your answer to these questions:

I’m Thankful for…
&
I’m Thankful today because…

If I were to answer that question right now…I’d have to say I’m thankful for Tide and Jesus. There are many other things I’m thankful for -but I’d like to leave it at that for you to consider where I’m going with that thought this Sunday. Oh…by the way, the portion of scripture that we’re going to look at is Hebrews 10:1-18. Have a look and see if there is something that reminds you of what you are truly thankful for.
If you are traveling to be involved in a Family Thanksgiving, drive safe and make sure you give everyone a huge hug when you see them. This will make them wonder what you’re up to and you can tell them you are thankful for them. If they faint, which they might, it’s all the more stuffing for you. Enjoy!
Hopefully, I will see you on Sunday before the aroma of turkey fills your home.
