Walking with God - A Contemporary Look at Sabbath!

This holiday weekend, our Sunday focus is on a topic that can only be described as elusive. The thought that we need to have a time when we slow down and allow our body, mind and even our spirit to gain much needed rest. What does it mean to our generations to engage in a Sabbath? To intentionally take time from our supposedly busy and important schedule and turn off the noise and commotion that surrounds us. This Sunday we are looking at three very important aspects of sabbath...mainly, silence, solitude and fasting. That's right, in this food craved day...staying away from food intentionally for all the right reasons.
I'm going to communicate my personal engagement of these three experiences that I have had the priviledge of living through during the past several months.
I invite you to come and celebrate with us the Lord's Supper and to worship through singing and the study of God's Word.
I look forward to seeing you on Sunday,
Pastor Brian
