This Sunday we begin an intensive focus on John 3:16! It is likely the most famous verse in all the Bible. "For God so loved....." you know how it goes. It goes on to read...."the world." Now that's a big place and there are a lot of people in that place. So we are told that God loves the World....but what about me? What about you?
John wrote this down so that everyone in the world would know that they are loved by an Awesome God. So this Palm Sunday I want to ask you to go beyond going to Church...I want you to take a huge step for each of us and to take John 3:16 personally. That's right...personally. God so loved you!
Jesus rode into Jerusalem for you. He took the abuse and beating in your place.
When there are others you are getting fuzzy about Easter...you get personal. Get personal with God! Get personal with belief! Get personal with faith! Get personal with eternal life!
I like to think that the palm branches were silently screaming to the children that day when Jesus rode in on the colt of a donkey...."pick me...pick me."
This Sunday...know that Jesus already did.....pick you. Make it personal...he really made it personal for you.
