It's supposed to be winter in Winnipeg.....but today the weather report tells me that it's almost zero and might even get up to plus 2 in a couple of days. So it seems unusually warm for this time of year....at least on the outside. On the inside of our lives....in the area of our heart and soul, I am discovering that people are looking for a change. It seems like their hearts are growing cold from the effects of living apart from Jesus...and they want to move closer. For the next 5 weeks we are inviting anyone...in fact everyone....to come in from the cold and warm yourself by the fire. It is descriptive of being far from God and moving closer to Him in all areas of our lives. This Christmas we have extended the invitation to come and experience the power of Jesus Christ by moving closer to His love, His forgiveness, His freedom and His life. We believe that if you do....your Christmas experience will be completely new and your heart, much warmer.
